Long-Term Records Management

A new standard for secure online preservation of images and pictures has been worked out by the IKT Norge (ICT Norway)and Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council). The companies responsible for photographs storage of the public are now obliged to follow these norms. The objective of the standard is to make sure that the photographs and other pictures of people are stored in a secure way and that the situations when those are accidentally deleted or suddenly disappear become non-existent.
