Beskrivelse

Pictures from the mid-1960s Lunar Orbiter program lay forgotten for decades. NASA was so preoccupied with getting an astronaut to the moon that little attention was paid to the mountains of scientific data that flowed back to Earth from its early space missions. These data were stored on miles of fragile tapes, packed up and sent to a government warehouse with crates of other stuff. And it would have been destroyed without Nancy Evans' interference. The archivist knew her mission: to preserve the history of human space exploration and see the pictures restored.
