Outdoor Festival Raises $12,000 for Charity

English born, Jennifer, wrote and performed her own songs along with selected cover songs. Her husband, Kenneth, supported her wholeheartedly. He said of his wife “She is a total inspiration. She had that crowd in the palm of her hand and was an amazing success. Her voice was in superb form and the audience were getting right into the whole atmosphere. It was a tremendous seven days. I am very proud of her.”
Jennifer announced the concerts earlier this year, when she announced that her goal was to fund clean water projects and build schools for children. She also wanted to buy vaccines for local hospitals.
Jennifer assembled twenty local musicians to contribute in the show and the park was the prefect venue. Fresh food vendors were on site to provide drinks and sustenance for the concert goers. The performance area was assembled by local craftsmen, who were willingly assisted by sound technicians, and music experts.
Jennifer said “This whole amazing experience has been so much fun! We clubbed together and performed some of our best music. The crowd seemed to love the whole thing. We have raised a nice amount of money and we hope to put on a similar series of concerts in the near future.”
